1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you represent that you are at least 16 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lipolu regarding the use of the Service.

2. Description of Service

Lipolu is a pet services platform that connects pet owners with pet care professionals and businesses. The Service is available through our mobile applications (iOS and Android) and our web platform. The Service includes, but is not limited to:

• Searching for and discovering pet service providers, including veterinarians, groomers, pet shops, trainers, and house sitters.
• Booking and managing appointments with service providers.
• Managing pet profiles, including health records, vaccinations, and medical history.
• Communicating directly with service providers through in-app messaging.
• Reading and writing reviews and ratings for service providers.
• Browsing and listing pets available for adoption.
• Reporting and searching for lost or found pets.
• Saving favorite service providers for quick access.

Lipolu acts as an intermediary platform that facilitates connections between pet owners and service providers. We do not directly provide pet care services and are not a party to any agreements between users and service providers.

3. User Accounts

To access most features of the Service, you must create an account. When registering, you must provide accurate and complete information and keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

The Service supports the following account types: Pet Owner, Veterinarian, Groomer, Pet Shop Owner, Trainer, and House Sitter. Each account type grants access to features relevant to that role. You may not register for an account type that does not accurately represent your identity or professional role.

You must notify us immediately at support@lipolu.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account. Lipolu will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Engage in any activity that is illegal, fraudulent, or harmful to others.
• Provide false, misleading, or inaccurate information in your profile, listings, or reviews.
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users.
• Send unsolicited messages, spam, or promotional material to other users.
• Impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
• Attempt to interfere with, compromise the security of, or disrupt the Service or its servers.
• Use automated systems, bots, or scrapers to access or collect data from the Service without our written consent.
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful code.

Violation of these rules may result in the suspension or termination of your account at our sole discretion.

5. Service Provider Terms

Service provider accounts (veterinarians, groomers, pet shops, trainers, and house sitters) are subject to review and approval by Lipolu. Listing a business on the platform does not guarantee approval. We reserve the right to approve, reject, or remove any service provider listing at our discretion.

Service providers must ensure that all information in their listings, including services offered, pricing, working hours, and contact information, is accurate and up to date. Misleading or false listings may result in account suspension or removal.

Service providers are responsible for fulfilling bookings accepted through the platform. This includes providing services as described, maintaining appropriate professional qualifications and licenses as required by applicable law, and responding to booking requests in a timely manner.

Service providers are independent entities and not employees, agents, or contractors of Lipolu. The relationship between a service provider and a pet owner is solely between those parties.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, logos, icons, software, and all other content (excluding User Content as defined in Section 8), is the property of Lipolu and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms. This license does not include the right to use the Lipolu name, logo, or trademarks without our express written permission.

7. Bookings and Appointments

Bookings made through the Service are requests submitted to service providers. A booking is confirmed only when the service provider accepts the request. Lipolu does not guarantee that any booking request will be accepted.

Both pet owners and service providers may cancel or reschedule bookings through the platform. We encourage users to provide reasonable notice when cancelling an appointment. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in restrictions on your account.

In the event of a dispute between a pet owner and a service provider regarding a booking, Lipolu may, at its discretion, attempt to facilitate a resolution. However, Lipolu is not obligated to mediate or resolve disputes between users.

8. User Content

You may submit content to the Service, including profile information, pet photos, reviews, ratings, chat messages, adoption listings, and lost pet reports ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content.

By submitting User Content, you grant Lipolu a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. This license ends when you delete your User Content or your account, except where your content has been shared with other users or is required for legal compliance.

Reviews and ratings must be honest, based on genuine experiences, and comply with our User Conduct rules. Lipolu reserves the right to remove reviews that are fraudulent, abusive, or violate these Terms.

You are solely responsible for your User Content. Lipolu does not endorse any User Content and assumes no liability for content posted by users.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Lipolu does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or suitability of any service provider listed on the platform. We do not verify professional licenses or qualifications of service providers beyond our initial review process. You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence before engaging a service provider.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lipolu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Service, or from any interaction between users of the Service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise detrimental to the Service.

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@lipolu.com. Upon account deletion, your personal information will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Sections relating to Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law, and any provisions that by their nature are intended to survive termination, shall survive the termination of your account.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hellenic Republic (Greece), without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Athens, Greece.

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you may also be entitled to invoke the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence, and you may bring legal proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be communicated through in-app notifications or email. By continuing to use the Service after the revised Terms take effect, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.
